Dr. Christopher Zitnay, M.D., MS

Dr. Zitnay is a lecturer for diabetes and is a strong advocate of diabetes prevention and treatment. He is an expert with insulin pumps and he uses one.

Determined, driven and highly motivated describes Dr. Christopher Zitnay who was diagnosed at age 15 with Type 1 Diabetes. Having diabetes has driven him to channel his energy into helping others and lead him to specialize in internal medicine and endocrinology. At age 38, Dr. Zitnay has accomplished more than most. He is a determined advocate for diabetes treatment and finding a cure.

Dr. Zitnay believes in providing excellent patient care that involves empowering each patient to partner in regard to their health through education. Each patient is encouraged to take responsibility for their health management and health care.
