Jana believes in helping in health care related issues, assisting people in need, and supporting activities in the community.

"Without the help of everyone, we cannot effect positive and lasting change in the lives of those who suffer from Type 1 Diabetes. Giving back to the community and helping those in need is important to me. I am a strong supporter of efforts that elevate the health of children to the level of the public concern that it deserves and take an active involvement," states Ms. Crutchfield.

Type 1 Diabetes affects 3,100 children in Virginia and each of those children need a cure.
